Story

Hi there,

I have decided to make a difference by creating my very own fundraising appeal for charity. Through here you can easily  support my efforts by making a secure donation. I would also really appreciate it if you could share my page above or comment below so more people know about it.

My partner, Bob, and I have both experienced the pain of losing a close family member to suicide. Bob lost 2 nephews and I lost my beloved twin brother, Fraser (pictured here 2 weeks before he took his own life). As both Bob and I are avid motor cyclists and regularly ride our Harley Fat Boy it seemed a great opportunity to take part in the Black Dog Ride. Coincidentally Sunday 24th March happens to be Fraser's (and obviously my) birthday - a particular day that I find difficult to celebrate since Fraser's death in 2000. So I could think of no better way to enjoy the day than participating in the ride and fund raising for Lifeline who do so much in the prevention of suicide and helping those afflicted with depression.

All donations would be greatly appreciated and if you are a rider please feel free to register for the ride and we will see you next Sunday!
